Deb This project, like any other project in Town, will be required to go through all applicable Boards and Committees. Depending on the permit type issued by a board, there are sometimes appeal and/or waiting periods. For example, Conservation Commission decisions can be appealed to DEP within ten business days of postmark of the decision sent to DEP by the Commission. As for the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals, there is a 20-day appeal period before any work can be started. Regarding legality of work, if you have a concern or complaint to report, I would recommend reaching out to our Building Commissioner/Zoning Enforcement Officer.
