Holly Excuse my lack of knowledge. I attended the Board of Selectman meeting on June 25th and a lot of discussion around the issues arising on West Monponsett Pond and Halifax Beach were met with the answer "the Bylaws are outdated and needs to be changed". My question is - how do we go about changing our bylaws? Is anyone taking action from that meeting to look into it further? Does a citizen have to make a formal request to the BOS? Thank you.
Cody Haddad, Town Administrator Hi Holly, The Board will be working with the Parks Commission and other applicable departments over the next several months to review general bylaws and recommend updates (as needed) at the Annual Town Meeting.
