As announced last week, we are excited to officially launch our new community notification system, Halifax Notify, which is designed to enhance our communication capabilities by ensuring that important information is disseminated quickly and efficiently to all residents and its guests.

How do I register?
It's easy! You can sign-up online by visiting hfxnotify.me and creating a Smart911 account. After creating your account, you'll be able to select which list(s) you'd like to subscribe to.
Alternatively, you can opt-in to receive general notices and alerts via SMS by texting HFXMA to 67283.
Will I continue to receive e-mail notifications if I am an existing website e-subscriber?
Yes, at this time, news and notice posting notifications will continue being sent to existing website e-subscribers. We still encourage you to sign up on the new platform though!
