The Finance Committee and Town Administrator are pleased to announce two public forum sessions regarding the fiscal year (FY) 2026 budget that is being proposed and voted on at the May 12th, 2025, annual Town Meeting. The first session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, and the second is scheduled for Monday, May 5th, 2025. Both sessions will be held at the Halifax Town Hall, 499 Plymouth Street in the Great Hall at 6 pm and also be available via Zoom for remote participation. Zoom access details are available below and posted on the town's website calendar.
The town will provide an overview of the budget process, a presentation of the proposed budget, and question and answer (Q&A) segment for the public to ask questions related to the budget process or proposed FY 2026 budget.
Both sessions will be recorded and posted on the town's website, YouTube, and other communication outlets.
